Mission
The NCTS HR DET LaMoure is a critical element of the fixed submarine broadcast system (FSBS), capable of transmitting VLF broadcast along with Take Charge and Move Out (TACAMO).  The mission is to operate and defend secure and reliable, strategic and tactical Nuclear Command, Control & Communications (NC3) to United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) and Commander, Submarine Forces (COMSUBFOR) to support United States and NATO submarine fleet assets across the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic area of responsibility (AOR).
