Lt. Cmdr. Peyton T. Price

04 August 2021 A native of Virginia Beach, Va., Lt. Cmdr. Peyton Price graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy in 2009 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and commissioned as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer.  Lt. Cmdr. Price received a Master’s of Science in Cyber System and Operations from Naval Postgraduate School in 2016, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2020. His dissertation is on cyber threat capability prediction against Industrial Control Systems.
 
Lt. Cmdr. Price’s operational assignments include Subsurface Direct Support Officer at Navy Information Operations Command, Maryland supporting 5^th and 6^th Fleet operations, and Information Warfare Officer on USS Cowpens and USS Dewey, where he qualified as a Surface Warfare Officer.
 
Ashore, he has been assigned to Commander Naval Surface Force as Force C4I/Cyber Operations Officer, a Secretary of the Navy tour with Industry Fellow at Idaho National Laboratory, and at Navy Cyber Warfare Development Group as Principal Assistant Program Manager for a major program.
 
Lt. Cmdr. Price reported to U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Sicily as Executive Officer in March 2021.
 
He holds a Level II Systems Engineering Defense Acquisition Workforce Certification.  His personal decorations include various service medals and unit awards.
