Commander, Naval Information Forces

FORCM Laura Nunley Piped Ashore

by NAVIFOR Public Affairs Office
25 July 2024 Here's to 30 years of service!

Naval Information Forces team celebrated Force Master Chief Laura Nunley's retirement in the Hall of Heros in Suffolk, Va., 19 July.  A friend, shipmate, mentor and inspirational leader to many over her three-decade U.S. Navy career, Nunley served as an Intelligence Specialist, was selected as a Commander Master Chief in 2011, and served as Deputy Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy.  At the time of her retirement, Nunley was the senior-most enlisted woman in the Navy, by rank.

The legacy FORCM Nunley created for our Navy and #InformationWarfare team will last for generations to come.  Fair winds and following seas - and congratulations!
