As an echelon III command under Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC), NAVIFOR is responsible for Navy IW force generation and delivery to naval and joint operational commanders; IW doctrine, policy and governance; training requirements; and community management. NAVIFOR directs 600 military and civilian employees to generate IW readiness across the fleet, including direct administrative control of 91 commands and activities manning ~20,000 billets across the globe.

The integrated employment of the Navy's information-based capabilities (communications, networks, intelligence, meteorology, oceanography, cryptology, electronic warfare, cyberspace operations, and space) to degrade, deny, deceive or destroy the enemy's warfighting capabilities, or to enhance the effectiveness of friendly operations across all domains.  |  Navy.MIL  |  |  Navy FOIA  |  DoD Accessibility/Section 508  |  No Fear Act  |  Open Government  |  Plain Writing Act  |
