Lt. Cmdr. Dave Ziemba

Lt. Cmdr. Dave Ziemba is a native of Old Tappan, New Jersey. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in May 2005. He also earned a Master of Science in meteorology and physical oceanography from the Naval Postgraduate School as well as Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase 1 from the Naval War College.
 
Lt. Cmdr. Ziemba's tours include: forecaster at Naval Aviation Forecast Center, Norfolk, Virginia; staff of strategic effects division and member of the personal security detail of four flag and general officers at Multi-National Forces-Iraq, Baghdad, Iraq; assistant operations officer at Naval Aviation Forecast Center, Norfolk, Virginia; staff planning officer, Commander, Naval Forces Korea; student at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California; meteorology and oceanography as well as legal officer onboard USS Boxer (LHD 4) where he served as a command duty officer, officer of the deck (underway), and tactical action officer.

His most recent assignment was at OPNAV N2N6E as the deputy executive assistant for the Oceanographer and Navigator of the Navy.

Lt. Cmdr. Ziemba has received multiple personal, unit, and service medals and ribbons.
