Cmdr. Danielle Williams

Executive Officer, Naval Network Warfare Command

22 September 2020 Cmdr. Danielle Williams, a native of Detroit, entered the delayed enlistment program in March 1988. She commissioned as an information systems limited duty officer aboard the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) in October 2002. She also redesignated to information professional in 2010.

Cmdr. Williams' operational tours include USS Frank Cable (AS 40), USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), USS Dubuque (LDP 8), Multi National Forces, Iraq, officer in charge Diego Garcia, and information warfare commander(N6), assistant chief of staff for Commander, Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 2.

Cmdr. Williams currently serves as the executive officer for Naval Network Warfare Command (NETWARCOM).

Ashore, her tours included Naval Facility Keflavik, Iceland; Naval Processing Facility Dam Neck, Virginia; Commander Undersea Surveillance, Atlantic; Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station, Guam; Space and Warfare Naval Warfare Command Headquarters; Tactical Training Group Pacific, San Diego; and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, and Fleet Cyber Command.

Cmdr. Williams has a bachelor's in computer science, a masters in information systems management and a doctorate in leadership. She has also earned her acquisition qualifications: Information Systems Level III and Program Management Level I.

Cmdr. Williams' personal awards include the Joint Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (Two awards), Navy Commendation Medal (eight awards), Navy Achievement Medal (three awards), Navy Good Conduct Award (four awards) and numerous unit and campaign awards.​
