Cmdr. Clark is a native of Indianapolis, and graduated from Indiana State University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He earned his Navy commission through Officer Candidate School in Pensacola in 2001, and was designated a Naval Intelligence Officer.

Cmdr. Clark’s shore assignments include USNAVCENT/U.S. FIFTH Fleet (Intelligence Watch Officer), Chief of Naval Operations Intelligence Plot (Deputy Officer in Charge), NORAD/USNORTHCOM (Deputy Branch Chief, Operational Intelligence Watch), Navy Personnel Command (Detailer), U.S. Fleet Cyber Command / U.S. TENTH Fleet (Executive Assistant), and U.S. Fleet Forces Command (Associate Director, Maritime Intelligence Operations Center).

Cmdr. Clark’s operational assignments include Carrier Air Wing SEVEN embarked USS John F. Kennedy (CVN 79) and USS George Washington (CVN 73) (Imagery and Collections Officer); Fleet Intelligence Adaptive Force Detachment Bahrain (Officer in Charge); Naval Special Warfare Mission Support Center (Officer in Charge); and Carrier Strike Group TEN embarked USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Battlespace Awareness Officer, and Deputy Information Warfare Commander).

Cmdr. Clark earned a Master’s Degree in National Security Affairs (Eurasian Studies) from the Naval Postgraduate School and is a graduate of the Joint Forces Staff College. Cmdr. Clark has been awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
