A native of Texas, Lt. Cmdr. H. T. Haskell graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. 
 
Afloat, Lt. Cmdr. Haskell completed a division officer tour aboard USS Alaska (SSBN 732) as the Main Propulsion Assistant and Electrical Officer.  After redesignating to Cryptologic Warfare Officer, he completed a division officer tour aboard USS George H W Bush (CVN 77) as the Cryptologic and Electronic Warfare Officer.  He returned to sea as Cryptologic Resource Coordinator for Commander, Carrier Strike Group EIGHT, embarked onboard USS Harry S Truman (CVN 75).  During his sea tours he made two deployments, first to the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and then to the Mediterranean Sea in support of the response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
 
Ashore, Lt. Cmdr. Haskell served at the National Security Agency / Central Security Service and then earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Naval Postgraduate School.  He is currently Executive Officer of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTS) Hampton Roads.
 
Lt. Cmdr. Haskell’s personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal as well as multiple unit and service awards.
