Lt. Cmdr. Lindsay N. Cosentino is a native of Pennsylvania.  She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2010 earning a B.A. in Criminal Justice.  She also holds a M.S. in Cybersecurity Management and Policy from University of Maryland Global Campus, and a M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
 
After commissioning through NROTC, Lt. Cmdr. Cosentino’s first sea tour was as the Electronic Warfare Officer and 1st Lieutenant on USS Ross (DDG 71) from 2010 to 2013.  Her next assignment was as the Combat Information Center Officer and Administrative Officer on USS Gettysburg (CG 64) from 2013 to 2014. 
 
Ashore, from 2014 to 2017, Lt. Cmdr. Cosentino was assigned to OPNAV N96, Surface Warfare Division, as an Action Officer on the Littoral Combat Ship and the next generation of Frigate programs.  It was during this tour she was selected for lateral transfer into the Information Professional Community.  She attended IP Basic School in Dam Neck, Va., and reported to Littoral Combat Ship Squadron One in San Diego, Calif., as the Communications Officer from 2017 to 2019.  After completing this tour, Lt. Cmdr. Cosentino transferred to Norfolk, Va., to join Destroyer Squadron 22 as the C5I Officer.  From 2021 to 2023, Lt. Cmdr. Cosentino was the Officer in Charge of the COMSEC Material Issuing Office in Norfolk, Va.
 
Lt. Cmdr. Cosentino’s decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), and various campaign and unit awards.
 
Lt. Cmdr. Cosentino is currently the Executive Officer at Navy Information Operations Command in Aurora, Colorado.
