Chief Petty Officer Paul Williams-Robinson IV, a native of Arizona, enlisted under the Delayed Entry Program in June 2005. He left for Boot Camp July 28, 2005, and graduated from RTC Great Lakes Oct. 6, 2005. Undesignated in rating, he went on to attend Seaman Apprentice Training Department (ATD) where he graduated with Honors.
His sea duty assignments include Amphibious Construction Battalion ONE (ACB-1) in San Diego, Calif., Individual Augment Assignment to 43
rd Joint Logistics Command in Afghanistan, Naval Special Warfare Development Group in Virginia Beach, Va., and Personnel Resource and Development Office in Washington, D.C. He completed shore duty assignment at Naval Construction Group ONE in Port Hueneme, Calif.
He was selected and advanced to Chief Petty Officer in 2019. His CPO tours include Special Reconnaissance Team ONE (SRT-1) in San Diego, Calif., where he served as the N6 Department Senior Enlisted Advisor and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) until he was redistributed in December of 2021 to the USS Cowpens (CG-63). On board Cowpens he served as command ISSM, Combat Communications Division Leading Chief Petty Officer, and Combat Systems Department Leading Chief Petty Officer.
He is a graduate of the Joint Special Operations University SOF Design and Innovation course and Enterprise Management course, and is an Information Warfare Specialist, Expeditionary Warfare Specialist, Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist, and a Master Training Specialist.
Chief Williams-Robinson’s decorations include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Combat Action Ribbon, Joint Service Achievement Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
ITC Williams-Robinson is currently serving as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific, Detachment Puget Sound.
