Information Systems Technician Chief Petty Officer Diana P. White was born in California and raised in Mexico, where she graduated from COBACH Siglo XXI High School. She attended Southwestern College in San Diego, Calif., before enlisting in the United States Navy on 20 April 2010. She attended Recruit Training at Great Lakes, Ill., and Information Systems Technician “A" school in Corry Station Pensacola, Fla.
In October 2010, she reported to the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) in San Diego, Calif., and was assigned to Radio division, where she earned her Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS) and Communications Watch Officer (CWO) qualification.
In April 2014, she reported to Naval Computer and Telecommunications Systems (NCTS) Bahrain where she worked on the Tech Control watch floor and completed the Enlisted Information Warfare Specialist (EIWS) qualification. Her third assignment was to Commander, Submarine Force U.S. Pacific (COMSUBPAC) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii where she served as Tech Control Supervisor, Leading Petty Officer and Video Teleconference Coordinator.
In August 2018, she joined the USS Mount Whitney (LCC-20) as Radio's Leading Petty Officer and COMSEC Account Manager (CAM). During this time, she was promoted to Chief Petty Officer and earned her Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist (EAWS) qualification.
In June 2022, ITC White reported to Naval Computer and Telecommunications Systems (NCTS) Detachment Misawa, Japan where she serves as Senior Enlisted Leader and Acting Officer-In-Charge. Her awards include one Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, four Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, one Flag Letter of Commendation and various campaign medals and unit awards. She currently resides in Misawa, Japan.
