Master Chief Quackenbush is a native of New York. She graduated from Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School, entered the Navy in August 2002, and completed basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Ill. After completing CTR “A” School in Pensacola, Fla., she reported to Navy Information Operations Command – Hawaii.
Her military education includes Cryptologic Technician Collections "A" and "C” Schools, Tactical Information Operations – Operator Course, and Naval leadership courses. She's a graduate of the Navy's Senior Enlisted Academy, the Command Master Chief / Chief of the Boat Course and the Advanced Command Master Chief Course.
Her previous duty stations include Naval Technical Training Center in Pensacola, Fla.; Navy Information Operations Command – Hawaii; Navy Information Operations Command – Whidbey Island, Wash.; Naval Special Warfare Development Group in Virginia Beach, Va.; Navy Information Operations Command – Colorado; USS Constitution in Boston, Mass.; and USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79) in Norfolk, Va.
Her deployments and forward experience include Al Asad, Iraq, Bagram, Afghanistan, multiple Joint Task Force deployments with NSWDG, a deployment on USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), and deployed in support of multiple exercises before and during her time onboard USS Oscar Autin (DDG 79).
Master Chief Quackenbush’s personal awards include Defense Meritorious Service Medal (two), Meritorious Service Medal (one), Joint Service Commendation Medal (two), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (one), Joint Service Achievement Medal (two), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six), Army Achievement Medal (two), and numerous campaign and unit awards.
