Lt. Cmdr. Carissa G. Hall

Lt. Cmdr. Hall is a native of Colorado and commissioned from the United States Naval Academy in 2011 as a Surface Warfare Officer, with a Bachelor of Science in International Relations. She laterally transferred to Cryptologic Warfare in 2019. She holds a Master of Science in Cyber Systems and Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School and has completed JPME Phase 1.
Afloat, Lt. Cmdr. Hall completed both Surface Warfare Division Officer tours aboard USS Port Royal (CG 73), first as the Strike Officer where she qualified as a TLAM Shipboard Strike Officer, and then as the Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer where she qualified as a Surface Anti-Submarine Warfare Advanced ASW Officer.
Ashore, Lt. Cmdr. Hall served as Battle Watch Captain and Direct Support Department Head at Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command; Deputy Branch Chief at Naval Information Forces working Information Warfare Requirements; and Branch Chief at United States Cyber Command working International Partnerships where she completed her joint duty assignment. She reported to her current assignment as the Executive Officer of Cryptologic Warfare Maritime Activity SIXTY ONE in March 2025.
Lt. Cmdr. Hall’s decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Achievement Medal (two awards), and various service, campaign, and unit awards.
