Lt. Cmdr. Timothy D. Perkowski is a native of Texas and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2005.  He received his commission from the Naval Academy in 2014 with a B.S. in Computer Science, and received his designation as Intelligence Officer upon graduation from Naval Intelligence Officer Basic School.

Operational tours include Aviation Intelligence Officer for Strike Fighter Squadron ELEVEN (VFA-11), NAS Oceana, Va., from 2018 to 2020.  He deployed twice onboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) supporting Operation Inherent Resolve throughout the U.S. EUCOM and CENTCOM areas of responsibility.

In 2020, he reported to NAVCENT / COMFIFTHFLEET as the Chief of Targets.  As Forward Deployed Naval Forces Middle East, he directly supported target development and strike execution for CFMCC, CFACC, and CENTCOM OPLANs and response options.  He also directly participated in the Afghanistan NEO and Operation    Allies Refuge.

In 2023, he reported to COMSEVNTHFLEET in Yokosuka, Japan as the Chief of Targets.  He directly supported target development and strike execution for TJFMCC, TJFACC and INDOPACOM, as well as USFK OPLANs and response options.  He also directly supported Operation Rough Rider in support of TF 94-7.4, NAVCENT, and CENTCOM priority targets.

He reported to NAVCOMTELSTA GUAM in November 2025.

Lt. Cmdr. Perkowski has been awarded various personal, campaign, unit, and service awards.
