Suffolk, Va. - The Information Warfare Leadership Panel answers questions on day two of Naval Information Forces’ Spring Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summit. Panelists from left to right are: Rear Adm. Michael Vernazza, commander, Naval Information Warfighting Development Group; Rear Adm. (Sel) Tracy Hines, executive assistant to Chief of Naval Operations; Ms. Phyllis Wright, director of equity and inclusion, Office of Naval Intelligence; Dr. Sharon Shaw, administrative officer/protocol officer, NAVIFOR; and Command Master Chief Petty Officer Laura Nunley, Deputy Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy. The theme for this year’s summit is “Leading the Way Into the Future.” NAVIFOR generates, directly and through leadership of the IW Enterprise, agile and technically superior manned, trained, equipped and certified combat-ready Navy Information Warfare forces to ensure our Navy will decisively deter, compete and win in today’s strategic competition.
