"The More We Talk, The More We Understand" Pride Month

12 June 2023 Celebrating diversity and inclusion, The Suffolk Compound Joint Multicultural Heritage Committee hosted a Pride Month celebration on June 9, 2023. The theme of the event, "The More We Talk, The More We Understand," aimed to promote dialogue and a more profound understanding among the Suffolk Compound workforce. The panel consisted of Mr. Jayye Michael, a local Suffolk native and entertainer, Lt. Macy Corbett (moderator), and Information Technology Specialist Seamen Ashton Moreno from Fleet Cyber Command. Vice Adm. Kelly Aeschbach, Naval Information Forces Commander provided the closing remarks. The event fostered a welcoming and accepting environment for all.
