Cmdr. Moore is a native of Arkansas and a 1991 graduate of North Little Rock High School.  He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1997 as an Electronics Technician.  He commissioned as an Information Systems Limited Duty Officer in 2009 and was selected for lateral conversion as an Information Professional Restricted Line Officer in 2016.  He currently serves as the Chief Staff Officer / Executive Officer for Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station (NCTAMS) Pacific.
 
Cmdr. Moore served on board USS Enterprise (CVN 65) from 2000 to 2005 in the Electronics Technician Communication Division.  While on board, USS Enterprise was on station to answer the call to begin Operation Enduring Freedom in 2001.  He served on board USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) from 2008 to 2009 as Electronics Technicians Leading Chief Petty Officer.  He then reported to USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) as Automated Data Processing Division Officer / Communications Officer and also served as Electronics Material Officer from 2009 to 2013.  Cmdr. Moore served as the N6 Communications Department Head for Amphibious Squadron SIX from 2016 to 2018, embarked on board USS Wasp (LHD 1) for their 2016 Mediterranean / Gulf Deployment.  He recently served as the Communication Officer for Carrier Strike Group FOUR from 2018 to 2020.
 
Cmdr. Moore’s shore duty assignments include the Navy Cargo and Handling Port Group, Williamsburg, Va., from 1998 to 2000; NATO Satellite Communication Facility Northwest Annex, Chesapeake, Va., from 2005 to 2008; Naval Network Warfare Command, Suffolk, Va., from 2013 to 2016; and Deputy C5I Officer in the N6 Directorate at United States Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Va., from 2020 to 2024.
 
Cmdr. Moore’s military decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal, Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and Navy Achievement Medal, among various unit and campaign awards.  He has an Associate Degree in Electronic Studies from Thomas Edison State College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College, and a Master of Science Degree in Cyber Security from Western Governor’s University.
