We also maintain the COMSEC central office of record for Department of the Navy COMSEC, Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) and Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) accounts. We publish COMSEC policies, develops and provides training tasks/procedures for COMSEC/EKMS/KMI/PKI systems and equipment, and COMSEC hardware distribution. We monitor all procedures and actions required to ensure the physical security of COMSEC material, including prevention of compromise and compromise recovery.
