Welcome Aboard
Congratulations on your orders to U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunications (NCTS) Station, Guam. Welcome to where America's day begins.
Guam is a small tropical island in the pacific located at 13° 28' 0" N / 144° 46' 59" E. Guam is a U.S. Territory and is relatively close to the Philippines, Japan and Australia as compared to other U.S. territories. It is customary to hear the greeting "Hafa Adai" in Guam. This salutation or greeting is similar to "Aloha" in Hawaii. Just as Hawaiians are well known for saying "Aloha!" so are the natives of Guam just as well known for saying "Hafa Adai!" The correct pronunciation of Hafa Adai is just like "Half a Day". Please visit the Guam Visitors Bureau for further information regarding the island. For those who intend to stay off-base, purchasing a generator is highly encouraged before leaving the U.S. and include it in your household goods shipment.

Members MUST contact the Visitors Quarters (VQ) at (671)339-5259 for reservations or obtain a "NON-AVAILIBILITY" letter with a control number prior to making reservations with a TLA approved hotel.
Upon arrival, members must report to their command and PSD/Disbursing to receive a TLA Brief. TLA is not authorized in "while in transit" and orders must be stamped. Individuals are also required to report to the Family Housing office within 48 hours of arrival in order to be eligible for TLA.
