IT Specialist (INFOSEC) 

Subject Line: NC3 Cyber Forensics
Duty Stations:  Norfolk, VA; Suffolk, VA; Honolulu, HI; Yokosuka, Japan; and Naples, Italy

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
-Functions as a cybersecurity manager who reviews detailed analysis of Navy network incident data for reportable significance and oversees analytical executive reporting. 
-Technical expert for information systems security for cyber defense related security issues.
-Recognizes potential shortfalls in detection, monintoring, and andalysis processes and procedures, approves automated database requirements, and directs the development of new approaches of defensive cyberspace operations (DCO) processes for the Navy. 
-Oversees processing of all Navy intrusions from detection to resolution while maintaining the highest level of database integrity.
Travel Required: Travel may be expected up to 15% for this position. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
Conditions of Employment (include but not limited to): Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. This is a testing designated position under the Drug Free Workplace Program. You will be subject to random drug testing. Must obtain and maintain the credentials specified in SECNAV-M/5230.2 for Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce. This is a Category 1/Alpha position and may be required to perform shift work at any time which may include days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC) 

Subject Line: NC3 Cyber Forensics
Duty Stations:  Yokosuka, Japan and Naples, Italy
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
-Functions as a Supervisory IT specialist in the Cyber Forensics Division overseeing detailed analysis of Navy network investigations of all computer and network incidents, discovered or reported on Navy networks world-wide.
-Technical expert for information systems security for cyber defense related security issues.
-Recognizes potential shortfalls in detection, monintoring, and andalysis processes and procedures, approves automated database requirements, and directs the development of new approaches of defensive cyberspace operations (DCO) processes for the Navy. 
-Plan, evaluate, and establishe the work schedules, deadlines and standards for acceptable levels of work to include policies for applicability and effectiveness within your division.
-Identifies developmental and training needs of employees and ensures they are met. Provides guidance, counsel and instruction to employees on mission and administrative matters to include career opportunities and assignments.

IT Specialist (INFOSEC) - JR SIEM Analyst
Subject Line: N38 Network Forensics
Duty Stations:  Suffolk, VA (only)
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
-Developing, testing and monitoring network tools and applications for defense and analysis of Navy networks in order to understand and determine solutions to cyber analytic needs and technicques and procedures for detection/prevention of malicious cyber content or behavior.
-Monitor, develop and implement plans, policies, programs, and processes to enhance the value of data and information assets. 
-Design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing application software. 
-Critically evaluate and identify causes of problems and choose courses of action that provides a solution to the problems that balances the interestes of the mission and stakeholders.
