Senior Chief Vincent J. Magdaluyo


Vincent J. MagdaluyoInformation System Technician, Senior Chief Petty Officer Magdaluyo is a native of Manila, Philippines. He enlisted in the Navy in May of 2000 and reported to Recruit Training Command Great Lakes Illinois, where he completed basic training and Information System Technician "A" school. He then reported to Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station (NCTAMS) Atlantic where he served as fleet center supervisor and was advanced to 2nd class petty officer.

In 2003, he reported to USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) in San Diego, where he served as a network administrator and leading petty officer after being promoted to 1st class petty officer. He then reported to Afloat Training Group, San Diego, California, in 2007, where he earned his Master Training Specialist and Afloat Training Specialist qualification and was promoted to chief petty officer before transferring to USS Frank Cable (AS 40), Apra Harbor Guam in 2010. While onboard Frank Cable, he volunteered to go on an Individual Augmentee (IA) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom – Philippines as a liaison between the two military organizations.

In 2014, he reported to Commander, Littoral Combat Ship Squadron (COMLCSRON) 1, San Diego, where he served as the combat system training team LCPO and was promoted to senior chief petty officer. He then reported to Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command in Manama, Bahrain in 2017, where he completed a two year unaccompanied tour before reporting to his current position as senior enlisted leader of NCTS Guam.


Senior Chief Magdaluyo holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology and is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 204 (Green). He is authorized to wear the Enlisted Information Warfare and Surface Warfare breast insignias. His personal awards include: Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 awards), as well as other personal and unit awards and ribbons.
