History

Since 1996, NCTS Bahrain has grown from a small, remote communications station with a crew of 75 military and one civilian supporting 41 commands to a robust, resilient, state of the art facility providing unequaled operational and tactical command and control (C2) capabilities for carrier strike groups, amphibious ready groups, and ground mobile forces across the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.

Today, we support 142 tenant commands, dozens of afloat units and ground mobile forces, and more than 6.000 personnel engaged in active combat operations.
