Welcome

At Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), we execute defensive cyberspace operations and enable global power projection through proactive network defense.  We are the Navy's Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) Task Force and the Navy's sole Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP). Meeting our mission requires us to be deliberate about who we bring onto our team and how we engage as a team. Here at NCDOC, there are numerous teams within our team. Each interdependent team enables the others to execute our shared mission. We aspire to become a distributed team of cyber defenders integrated through understanding, synchronized in action.

Our motto is "Cyber Warriors. Ever Vigilant."

As technology and cyber threats continue to advance rapidly, the world around us evolves at an ever quickening pace. We know that in order to remain relevant in our mission area, we must leverage critical thought and creative problem solving from all levels of our team to successfully complete our mission. Our video, "A Day in the Life of Data" provides you an overview and better understanding of our defensive cyberspace operations mission.

Building the Capabilities and Teams the DoD Needs

Cyber attacks from foreign adversaries have accelerated significantly on the Department of Defense (DoD) networks and systems, creating the need to identify threats and vulnerabilities at untenable speed. For incident responders, time is the most valuable metric. Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and overseeing the defense of all Navy computer networks and systems, knows all too well how time impacts the execution of defensive cyber operations (DCO).
