Execute cyberspace operations and signals intelligence in support of Naval, Joint Forces, and National Tasking Authorities.

Execute our Command Philosophy as a multifaceted approach to a culture of excellence driven by the principles below to ensure we are optimally prepared to meet the operational needs of our Navy and Nation against our most consequential strategic competitors and pacing challenges.


Command Philosophy


Mission First.  NIOC Pensacola is designed to execute cyberspace operations and signals intelligence in support of Naval, Joint Forces, and National Tasking Authorities.  Our understanding of the threats we face drives development of the capabilities necessary to meet and exceed mission requirements.  We will innovate and cultivate an atmosphere where all hands have a voice to get after complex mission assignments.  Our hard work today will allow for combat effectiveness tomorrow.  We must be resilient and exhibit a warfighter mindset, we will be ready to operate effectively in peacetime and crisis.  We must remain oriented, aligned, and moving forward in the right direction.  Do your job well and we will win in cyberspace, as our nation is depending on us!

 

Be Ready.  Make no mistake, this command is a warfighting organization, and we will be ready to execute our mission that is essential to the Navy’s ability to fight and win.  We will be ready to execute mission smartly, with expertise, and at speed.  Hone your tradecraft.  Seek a mentor, and mentor your relief.  Readiness is a personal priority.  Be excellent at your rating, seek advanced qualifications, and when able, qualify in your warfare area.  Cultivate your mind, body, and spirit.  Your spirit is the foundation of character.  Seek opportunities to enjoy activities that enhance your well-being.  A positive mental attitude is contagious.  Taking a proactive approach to maintaining a healthy spirit is the foundation for success within the mission, team cohesiveness, and family strength.  Our family readiness team is a lynchpin of this command, and we will foster any and all opportunities to keep this bond strong.
