Lt. Cmdr. Jen G. Schumacher

Lt. Cmdr. Schumacher is a native of upstate New York. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from SUNY at Albany.
After being commissioned through Officer Development School in November 2008, she received orders to Charleston, S.C., where she spent four years as an instructor at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC).
In March of 2013 she transferred to the Information Warfare Community and became an 1810. She was assigned to Naval Information Operations Command in San Antonio, Texas, where she earned her warfare pin, served as the Senior Watch Officer on the national side, and later as Operations Officer for a Target Office of Primary Interest.
Following this, she was the Information Warfare Officer for COMUSNAVCENT in Bahrain, before reporting to the Navy Cyber Warfare Development Group in October 2017. During her time in Maryland, she revamped the Foreign Materiel Program and led a Research and Development project.
Lt. Cmdr. Schumacher reported to NIOC Hawaii in December 2019, where she became the Director for N9A. Additionally, she drove defensive cyber operations forward as the leader of Task Force Pacific's Task Group THREE.
Lt. Cmdr. Schumacher enjoys basketball, distance running, golf, and playing euchre.
