TAMP provides the tools and resources active duty service members and their families need to successfully transition from the military lifestyle to the civilian workforce. The following services are offered: employment assistance, resume writing, job search techniques, government employment, veterans benefits and the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Workshop.

 

Transition Assistance Program (TAP)

TAP offers twice monthly workshops that help prepare military personnel for civilian education, professional employment, vocational employment, and entrepreneurship. It is open to active duty personnel who are separating or retiring. Veterans and spouses are welcome to attend if space is available. The workshop includes information on resiliency, financial planning, translating military skills to civilian employment, civilian job searches, VA benefits and services, resume writing, interviewing skills, and a pre-separation brief. TAP is conducted from 0730 to 1600 each day. Attire is business casual civilian clothing. Instructions on what to bring will be provided by staff to registered participants. Space is limited, register early.

Resume Writing and Federal Resume Preparation, Interviewing and Salary Negotiation Skills. Call for an appointment.

 

Resource Library

Extensive library of printed material and various audio/visuals pertinent to employment, resume writing, interviewing skills and relocation.

 

Computer Resources

A Computer Lab for client use with state of the art hardware and software to produce quality resumes, applications for federal employment, and cover letters.
