Ombudsman

As the ombudsmen at CWG-6, we would like to introduce ourselves and take some time to let you know a little about what we can do for you. Many people may associate an ombudsman with a sea command, but the ombudsman can be just as valuable of a resource at a shore command. The Navy realizes that our families are as integral to the success of the mission as the Sailors themselves, and the ombudsman helps to ensure that your Navy experience is a positive one.

CONTACT US
CWG-6 has appointed two ombudsmen to serve its families. We are Erica Wilson and Joanna Ruzin, and we are really looking forward to working with you and providing you with the resources that you need. The primary job of the ombudsman is to serve as a liaison between the command and the families. If you have concerns or questions, please consider us your first point of contact. In addition, we are available to connect you with local resources and help in emergency situations. The information that you share with your ombudsman is kept confidential. You can email us anytime at CWG6.staff.ombudsman@gmail.com.
