Mission and Vision
Mission: Task Group 1010.2 delivers global nuclear command, control, and communications operational reporting and support for ten Fixed Submarine Broadcast System (FSBS) sites worldwide. NCTS Hampton Roads operates the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) node site and maintains Radio Frequency systems for the United States Fleet Forces Maritime Operations Center. We also provide Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) for 20 local elements serving Atlantic commanders.
What we do: Sailor development, mission execution, and mentorship form the foundation of my command philosophy. These principles have directly contributed to our operational success and continue to shape our culture of excellence.
We are entrusted to lead with Integrity, Honesty, and unwavering Accountability – both personally and as a unified team. These principles aren’t optional; they are the foundation of how we serve, how we lead, and how we earn trust across every level of our mission. Success demands more than operational excellence – it requires leaders at every level, across our command and detachments, to be fully committed to the growth, well-being, and professional development of our Sailors, Civilian Personnel, and Contractors. Empowerment isn’t a checkbox – it’s a core responsibility of leadership.
Knowledge is power – And your pursuit of it transforms you into an indispensable force for the mission and your team. Every qualification earned strengthens our operational edge and reinforces the culture of excellence we lead.
Mental clarity, spiritual grounding, and physical strength form the triad of resilience – Each one reinforcing the other in pursuit of balance and mission readiness. Investing in all three isn’t just self-care – it’s leadership by example.
Personal respect begins with integrity – It’s not just earned through rank or role, but through consistency, humility, and the way you treat those around you.
